i got this modelish of pc about 4 to 5 year back and have now started to upgrade all the parts its basically a new computer all on its own now. only things i havent changed are the front and back fans lmao. had to look up the model cause i cant find any place that can tell me what size aio can fit on top. tho im still a rookie at the whole pc thing. took me like 5 hours to switch out motherboards lmao

Method 3: carefully remove the hard drive motherboard and remove the pin connecting the 3,3v pin to motherboard

I bought my Acer H340 new at the time. I bought a used mainboard bundle and rebuilt it yesterday. GIGABYTE GA-H67N-USB3 with i5 Intel CPU. It works great.

Macrium Reflect did not work for me. Said there were bad sectors and it was impossible. No suggestions about what to do. Not even saying if the problem was on the source or the receive disc. Used another program (EaseUS Partition Manager) worked perfectly. It cost money but it works.

Very very detailed walk-through. Love the tone and abit of humor. Fast forward to 2024 a see alot of people replacing the internal itx logic to something way faster but that defeats the purpose. I wonder if I install openmediabox it would be any faster as it requires min 1gb ram. I have a few kiosk demo screens with 15' lcd + intel Atom logics with 1gb ram + 4GB CF card.

Problem occurred while detecting drive. I'm missing the hell outta Linux. Windows piece of sh!t

Is it also possible to downgrade the firmware like this?

I tried to download the updated BIOS firmware from the HP site, but the only options available are for Windows 10. Unfortunately at some point my HP Pavilion was updated to Windows 11. Am i stuck with the BIOS firmware I have(F.11-06/11/2018)?

I think I posted the last time I used this video. Superb, Again. I just bought a new computer and I'm going to be bringing over a rats nest of SSD/M.2 to the new rig and I have your video in my saved Tool box of Computer upgrade videos. Can't thank you enough. BTW- Macrium doesn't allow the perpetual use thing anymore you either have to use it for 30 day trial or purchase.

I upgraded mine about 5 years ago to Windows Server. From memory I used a USB Stick with automated install. I installed some Drive Pool software. At the time I was sure tha max drive was 4TB though so it is great that you have managed to get more. Your solution is better as it uses native Windows pooling. My battery is dead now so the clock keeps slipping out of sync. Going to replace the battery to squeeze a few more months out of it but starting to think of a replacement. Great device. Glad I got it all those years ago.

2:26 For some reason I couldn't delete my partitions. If your goal is to get an empty disk in order to use it for some other purpose, then the easiest way at this point (2:26) is to type: "clean" and press enter. This will clean up the selected drive. There are two things you have to be absolutely sure about: 1. Make sure that you have selected the disk you want to "clean" (here is how 2:16). 2. DO NOT "clean" the disk with your running OS!

11:25 If you get a "Clone failed - Error 9 - Read Failed - 23 - Data error (cyclic redundancy check)" the work around for me was to make an image file and restore from there. CHKDSK did not help in my case at all even with /R or /F.

great video ! i shucked an 18tb WD Elements and put it into a 5 bay enclosure and it didn't miss a heartbeat and no power pin issue. I have 2 more to do so hopefully they will go as well as the 1st one did. thanks for the video 👌
